Dearest mummy and nanny Jean,
Didn't think I'd be the last to comment here today but needed and wanted to make sure I spent the time sending you my thoughts on what would have been your special day. It's silly really, I don't quite know what to say this time. It's been a tricky day, as I'm sure you've seen, but I got through the challenges and I was so delighted and reassured to see your warmth shine through the colours of the sunset this evening. To say I miss you doesn't portray the pain of not having you here to talk to, to listen, to hug and to hold, to pick up the phone and say hi, how's your day been.
I heard the babies having a chat with you at your special place this afternoon! I hope you were telling them to sleep well tonight! My goodnes, how Emilia reminds me of what you've described of my childhood!! At least I know the best is yet to come!!
