Wherever you are, and whatever you are doing, I hope a part of you has been close by today. You must have been in order to give us all the strength and courage we needed to get through a difficult day. There will always be an empty seat at the family table but our hearts are full of the memories we are so lucky to have. If only those good times could return, if only for one day. You taught us to be loving, kind and strong. People tell me I've been amazing to get through this horrid, horrid year. I simply say, i learnt it from my Mum. What better example could there be? You certainly made it through your fair share of difficultiesHow could I possibly fall apart at the first hurdle after everything you and dad suffered? You have made me the person I am today. The pain is sometimes too much to bear, but you know that, and yet somehow you always managed to find a smile from somewhere deep inside, and that is what I now try to do each and every day, to make you proud, Mum. Please now help us to receive the news that we'd love to hear. I know you know what that is, although without you here, how will that ever be quite the same. I love you, Mum. No words exist for how much I miss you but you are always in my heart and mind every second of every day, for that is the power of love. May you rest in peace, my special Mum. X x x
